Pfiffner Instrument Transformers
The PFIFFNER product range includes all current and voltage transformers, from low voltage up to the 550 kV high voltage level, from a few amps up to 50000 amps in the giant power stations. We use the most up-to-date cast resins, oil-paper and SF6-gas as dielectric medium. Besides inductive instrument transformers we also offer capacitive voltage transformers. PFIFFNER has become a full-service provider of instrument transformers.
High Voltage
Current transformers
- Current transformers type JOF T are used in high voltage networks within the 24-123 kV range. They transform high voltage into standardised values for meters, measuring and protection devices.
- Current transformers type JOF are used in high voltage networks within the 24-550 kV range. They transform high current into standardised values for meters, measuring and protection devices
- Current transformers type JGF are used in high voltage switchgear within the 245-550 kV range. They transform high current into standardised, equivalent values for meters, measuring and protection devices.
Inductive voltage transformers
- Voltage transformers type EOF are used in high voltage networks within the 24-245 kV range. They transform high voltage into standardised values for meters, measuring and protection devices.
- Voltage transformers type EGF are used in high voltage substations within the 245-550 kV range. They transform high voltage into standardised, equivalent values for meters, measuring and protection devices.
Capacitive voltage transformers
- Voltage transformers type ECF are used in high voltage networks within the 72-550 kV range. They transform high voltage into standardised values for meters, measuring and protection devices.
Medium Voltage
HIGH CURRENT TRANSFORMERS
- High current transformers type AKA are used in isolated-phase bus (IPB). They transform high currents up to 50000 A into standardised values for meters, measuring and protection devices.
- High current transformers type ALG are mounted on insulated generator bushings. They transform high currents up to 50000 A into standardised values for meters, measuring and protection devices
- High current transformers type JK-GCT are mounted on insulated generator bushings. They transform high currents up to 50000 A into standardised values for meters, measuring and protection devices.
- High current transformers type JKQ are used in generator switches. They transform high currents up to 50000 A into standardised values for meters, measuring and protection devices.
CABLE CURRENT TRANSFORMERS
- Cable current transformers type JK are used in indoor switchgears. They transform high currents up to 5000 A into standardised values for meters, measuring and protection devices.
- Split core cable current transformers of type JKS / JKS-S are used in indoor switchgears. They transform high currents up to 3000 A into standardised values for meters, measuring and protection devices.
- Split core cable current transformers of type JKS / JKS-S are used in indoor switchgears. They transform high currents up to 3000 A into standardised values for meters, measuring and protection devices.
- Cable current transformers type JKF are used in outdoor switchgears. They transform high currents up to 4000 A into standardised values for meters, measuring and protection devices.
- Cable current transformers of type JK-G / JKS-G are used in outdoor applications for medium or high voltage systems. They are mounted over the high or medium voltage cable and transform currents up to 3000 A into standardised values for meters, measuring and protection tasks.
SUPPORT TYPE CT'S AND VT'S
- Support type voltage transformers type VD are used to fit in standard MV cabinets within the 12-72 kV range. They transform high voltage into standardised values for meters, measuring and protection device
- Support type voltage transformers type WD are used to fit in standard MV cabinets within the 12-36 kV range. They transform high voltage into standardised values for meters, measuring and protection devices.
- Support type current transformers type BD are used to fit in standard MV cabinets within the 12-72 kV range. They transform high current into standardised values for meters, measuring and protection devices.
LOW VOLTAGE
Instrument transformers for low-voltage applications are produced according national and international standards. The current and voltage transformers can be calibrated for different countries and delivered with the corresponding certificate. We also offer specially designed and custom-built solutions for your specific applications.
