Since more than 50 years we manufacture top quality surge arresters in factory located in Hermsdorf/Germany.At the same time the company looks back to a history of more than 100 years.Today TRIDELTA Surge Arresters stand for worldwide best quality, highest reliability and free of maintenance over their whole service life. Our portfolio of metal oxide surge arresters for system voltages from 1 kV up to 800 kV is completed by customized arrester solutions for special applications.

Medium Voltage Metal Oxide Surge Arresters and Limiters up to 51 kV

Tridelta has a long tradition in the production of distribution arresters. Our first medium voltage arresters were produced in 1962.The housing of these valve-type arresters was generally porcelain. Since 1996 our medium voltage arrester are made only using light and cost-effective silicone housing; they have passed the 5000h ageing test successfully.

DC Arresters and Transmission Line Arresters

TRIDELTA offers surge arresters up to 4,8 kV DC for rolling stock, tram or streetcars or for protection of DC equipment and overhead lines. Line arresters are an effective and economical option to protect existing as well as new transmission lines against lightning overvoltages in order to increase grid reliability and availability of transmission lines. Line arresters are suitable especially for line sections with low earthing impedance of the line towers, areas with high lightning activity, transmission lines without shield wire protection and for transmission lines with very high demand to their availability.
